About Coaching & Mentoring
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as:
“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

Many people have heard of coaching but aren't quite sure what a coach actually does. At its core, coaching is a collaborative process that helps you gain clarity, navigate challenges, and move toward meaningful goals. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, a coach asks thoughtful questions, offers perspective, and helps you uncover your own solutions.
Mentoring adds another dimension. As a mentor, I may also share relevant knowledge, practical tools, personal experience, or resources that can support your journey when appropriate.
Together, coaching and mentoring create a supportive partnership that helps you move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and intention.
What Coaching and Mentoring is not
A coach is not a therapist and does not substitute for treatment, where a diagnosis and treatment are required. While a coach may help to reflect on patterns in behavior rooted in past experiences, the focus is on the present and how to move forward, with the understanding that there is a willingness to make some concrete changes.
Having said that, the coaching relationship can indeed be a deeply healing experience, releasing inner obstacles, offering new perspectives and insights, always empowering the client and highlighting their own inner capacities and potential.
What is Holistic Coaching?
The Holistic perspective recognizes that every aspect of life is connected. Our physical health, emotional well-being, relationships, beliefs, habits, values, and sense of purpose all influence one another, so we address our coaching topics at each of these levels, at the levels of body, mind, and spirit.
Holistic Coaching philosophy says that having optimal mind-body-spirit health internally, creates optimal potential externally, and we apply this perspective to the whole coaching process.
Clarity for decision-making, freedom from indecision.
Freedom from procrastination and self-doubt.
A renewed sense of self-worth, purpose, and inner peace.
Tools for cultivating healthier relationships, setting boundaries, and thriving through transitions.
A deeper connection to your authentic self and life’s possibilities.

The European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) States:
“Coaching is an art: that of helping a person or a group to develop and enhance their professional, relational and personal potential in the realization of their projects and to take their rightful place in the relationship they have with themselves, others and their environment”.
EMCC further defines Mentoring as “a learning partnership through the transfer of skills and knowledge from a more experienced person to a less experienced person, through dialogue and modeling”.

About me
During my twenty plus years as a movement teacher (dance, pilates and hatha yoga), I was always curious about what motivates people and what holds them back from living fulfilling lives. In my work, I enjoyed the deeper conversations with my clients—helping them identify their unique paths to happiness and authenticity, back to themselves.
This, along with my personal experiences, including burnout, divorce, parenting, and cross-cultural life transitions, inspired me to expand my focus on healing disciplines by formally train as Holistic Coach.
Today, I offer my services as a Holistic Coach, Mentor, and Teacher, leveraging my 20-plus year professional background in the wellness industry, and my personal healing experience, to support individuals in creating strategies for balance, self-care, and healing in their lives.
With roots in Yoga, 12-step recovery, Ayurveda, and spirituality, I combine Eastern and Western teachings and a passion for healthy relationships and living, healing from burnout, and integrating spirituality into all aspects of life.
My work includes online coaching, group facilitation and workshops at retreats and in-person Pilates lessons. I also enjoy collaborating with professionals in related fields at retreats, trainings and events.

I believe that even in difficult circumstances, we often have more inner resources, resilience, and choice than we realize. My mission is to support people in connecting (or re-connecting) with their authentic Self, their Joy, Peace, Truth, and Love and to help them move toward their goals, courageously stepping into who they really are.
My Approach
My sessions are a blend of coaching and mentoring, meeting the client where they are at, where I will leverage my professional skills and personal experience for gentle inquiry and challenge, offering practical tools and exercises blending Eastern and Western models and teachings for healing and growth. Regardless of what the client brings forward, I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental space in which to explore desires, motivations and a path forward.
I offer a compassionate and practical perspective to help you thrive, in a process that is tailored to your unique path, whether you need structured coaching, spiritual guidance, or simply a supportive space to rediscover yourself.
It is not important which particular belief or philosophy you come with, or if you come with none. It is important to come with an open heart, an open mind and willingness to explore whatever your inner truth is.
"Perhaps love is the process of my gently leading you back to yourself. Not to whom I want you to be, but to who you are."
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
